The staff of First Mansfield Students are at Stillwater tonight for a quick planning getaway. This is one of my favorite events. I love getting away and cutting up with the rest of the staff; I love staying in tranquil locations; I absolutely love getting organized!

I always leave these retreats (no matter how short) with a sense of direction, inspiration, rest, and a renewed enthusiasm for our ministry.

This day/night is vital to the health of our ministry, students, and staff. If you and/or your staff (if you have one) don’t do this, you should really think about it.

This past weekend, my brother, his fiancé, and I traveled to Auburn, Alabama to watch my Dad graduate with his Executive MBA from Auburn University.

It was a fantastic weekend! I was so proud of my Dad, and it was so great to see my family.

There was plenty of fun and shenanigans to be had on my favorite college campus. I’ve finally posted the pictures I have from the weekend. Check ‘em out here.
