Looking for a good reason to grow a beard? Or do you have a “good” reason/excuse to grow a beard that you would like to share? Share it here!
Our good friends at Beards.org have given us some of their reasons…
- I always wanted to grow a beard.
- I wanted to see how I would look with a beard.
- I like the way beards look.
- I like the way beards look and feel.
- I hate to shave.
- I wanted to change my appearance.
- I look better, more handsome, with a beard
- It is the natural thing to do.
- It is the manly thing to do.
- It suits my personality.
- I wanted to look older.
- I wanted to look more distinguished.
- Growing a beard is a family tradition.
- It is something that women cannot do.
- I wanted to express my freedom upon leaving military service

This was an interesting little revelation for me today.
Check out your “Top 25 Most Played” smart playlist in your iTunes menu.
I was pretty interested to see what was in there.
Keep in mind that my iTunes has only been keeping track since February of 2006, and iTunes only counts what was played on this computer…not my car, ipod, etc.
This is how they’ll be listed…

OBSERVATIONS:
- I listen to a lot of Death Cab for Cutie. 32% of my Top 25 (50% of the Top 10) is comprised of this band.
- “Doubting Thomas” is the only song by Nickel Creek that I own. Apparently I like it.
- Alex Cramer is 3 plays away from being in the #2 spot. That’s impressive.
- Both Alex Cramer (#3) and Reeve Hunter (#13) have never recorded an album.
- Pedro the Lion is my all-time favorite band, but only one song cracks the Top 25?
- #19 is a blank track on the David Crowder Band’s first record. I use it every now and again when making mixtapes. I guess that’s how it got there.

I totally forgot about this fun little thing.

My reading level used to be elementary. I’m glad that I apparently am writing at a higher reading level now. What’s your blog’s reading level?
