Jimmy Eat World Clarity Tour, and Disappointment…
Jimmy Eat World’s Clarity album is my absolute favorite. It’s the album that made me fall in love with them. It’s the perfect sound for a cold, dreary winter’s day.
You can imagine my surprise when I read (via RSS) that JEW will be doing a one time Clarity Tour playing the famed album cover to cover.
Then imagine me scrolling vigorously down the page to see when they will be within 150 miles of me.
Now picture me weeping because the closest they will get to Texas is Denver, CO.
What’s the deal? *sniff.

Welcome to the world of record labels hating Texas

Get over it chump, I’m driving 246 miles with my friends from Pittsburgh to DC for this. Clarity WAS high school for us 10 years ago, so I’ll consider this my high school reunion…

OMG. i know…why is that? i hate when i see tour dates of bands and they make it to every other effin state but texas…we’re such a huge state, they could play anywhere from san antonio, to el paso, to dallas, to mcallen! i just really don’t understand why texas is shunned so much…damn.
