Boogyman = Heartbreaker…
People are scared of the dark because they are afraid the “Boogeyman” might get them. There is “something” in the dark that will jump out get them. So they avoid being in the dark. If you stay out of the dark, there is no threat from the “Boogeyman”.
But what if you’re the “Boogeyman”? Would you be afraid of the dark? If so, what would you be afraid of? A bigger, badder “Boogeyman”?
Just because your job/hobby/tendancy is scaring people doesn’t make you less susceptible to being scared.
We are scared of relationships because they are afraid of the “Heartbreaker”. It becomes to give someone your heart if there’s a chance that it will be handed right back. So we avoid relationships (or at least deep ones). If you refrain from exposing your heart, then there is no threat from the “Heartbreaker”.
But what if you’re the “Heartbreaker”? Are you afraid of relationships? If so, what would you be afraid of? A bigger, badder “Heartbreaker”?
Just because you tend to be the “Heartbreaker” in a relationship doesn’t make you less susceptible to being heart broken.
Maybe just a little quicker to pull the trigger.

heartbreaker
I am the heartbreaker and I am not scared of other heartbreakers. If I come across one, and am subsequently bested by them, I merely come back as a stronger heartbreaker. That makes me the Doomsday Heartbreaker.
